3rd September 2005 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Estuary Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: 18-22 knots Surf / Sea State: Flat Air Temperature: 10ºC Sea Temperature: 16ºC Weather: Sunny Max Speed: 24.8 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 17.2 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) A nice early start, on the water by 6am after rigging in the dark. The wind was a little gusty to start with, but soon filled in to more than I was expecting so I was maxed out and at times overpowered with my 6.7m sail. Should have rigged the 5.7m really and could possibly have got away with a 5m at times. Nothing special, just some nice flat water blasting and some good chop hops and gybes. |
